Alfredo Araujo was born in the country of Brazil and was first introduced to the art of healing through the practice of Shiatsu. He attributes his early contact with Shiatsu and his profound love of Asian culture with the fact that Brazil is known to have the largest concentration of Japanese immigration in the world. As a result of this mass immigration, there is a great influence of Japanese culture in Brazil.
At the age of 12, Alfredo began his lifelong study of physical arts by enrolling in Judo and Jujitsu classes. While training under the tutelage of one of Brazil's nationally respected masters, he was introduced and instructed in the techniques of Shiatsu. In 2001 Alfredo came to the United States in order to enhance his understanding of massage modalities. In 2005, he was accepted into the Florida School of Massage where he was able to perfect and acquire new methods such as Swedish massage, Sports Massage, deep tissue massage, and hydrotherapy.
Since then, Alfredo has been working as a professional massage therapist throughout Florida. He has successfully treated numerous private clients and also worked with spas.
Aside from his profound understanding of physical mechanics and massage theory, Alfredo also holds a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education and a Master's Degree in School Administration.
